1.Post CVA rehabilitation

  • Acupuncture
    - release spasticity and release pain (sequela of CVA)
  • Exercise therapy (Strengthening, stretching, coordinating and proprioceptine neuromuscular facilitation exercise)
    - improve functional mobility through strengthing (Figure A), stretching, coordinating and proprioceptine neuromuscular facilitation exercise.
  • Transfer ability training and Gait training
    - improve functional mobility through tilt table standing (Figure B), partial weight bear training and transfer training, through Liko system (Figure C).
  • Balance, endurance and spasticity relieving exercise
    - improve balance through KAT training (Kinesthetic Ability Trainer) (Figure D) and other equipments and en hance mobility through spasticity relieving exercise.
  • Functional Electrical Stimulation
    - re-educate muscular action through Functional Electrical Stimulation (Figure E).
2. Pain Relief Treatment (including acute or chronic injuries)

    - nourishing meridian and have analgesic effects.
  • Electrotherapy (Ultrasound, interferential therapy (Figure F), thermotherapy)
    - analgesic effects
  • Functional enhancing exercise
    - enhancement of function through exercise in combination with analgesic treatments.
 
3. Parkinson's disease, fracture, fall prevention
  • Maintenance exercise
    - minimize deterioration through therapeutic exercises.
  • Fall prevention training (Figure G)
    - minimize the risk of fall through balance training and fall prevention education

4. Acupuncture
Acupuncture needles are sterilized for single application only. Physiotherapist may also add Electrical Stimulation machine for Acupuncture, Vacuum Cupping, Electromagnetic Therapeutic Apparatus or other electrical modalities if applicable.

Indications of Acupuncture

  • Soft tissue injuries such as Tennis elbow, Sprained ligament or Tendon
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Neck and Back Pain
  • Sciatica
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Cerebrovascular Accidents
  • Neurological paralysis
  • Chronic or acute pain in musculoskeletal system
5. Fee Charges

For Physiotherapy

HK$100 per session (45 minutes)

For Physiotherapy & Acupuncture

HK$120 per session including acupuncture equipments (45 minutes)
