Case Management
We pay special care and attention to the social and emotional states of the residents. Registered social workers provide individual or group counseling to enhance individual's relational, psychological and adjustment functions. We have also adopted a case management intervention model and case manager will liaise with other disciplines for the establishment and implementation of individual care plan.

   Individual & Group Councelling

Since 2002, our social workers have initiated a series of multi-media creative art groups including art and painting, dance and movement, and music therapy. Through an interactive and expressive approach, older individuals are helped to improve their physical, psychological, spiritual and social functioning.

   The Residents' Council
The Residents' Council was organized since 1987 with an objective of promoting autonomy and self-determination in older persons. The Council offers opportunities for members to manage internal affairs and welfare related to the residents themselves. Through participating in volunteer services, residents will also learn and develop mutual help spirit in servicing others as well as a sense of belonging to the Home.

In April of the year, all residents will elect representatives into the Council which is governed by 15 members including Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Working Group Coordinators. There are 3 major Working Groups looking after the daily programs of the residents. The Meal and Cleaning Services Advisory Group is mainly responsible for giving suggestions and recommendations to the staff management on meals and cleaning services of the Home. Social Activities Coordination Group assists in the planning of residents' social programs and recreational activities. The Volunteer Services Coordination Group further comprises 9 sub-working groups and assists in the coordination, implementation and development of volunteer services.
